The external pressures on any organisation to innovate are increasing. Global competition, customer demand for better products and services, increasing political, social and environmental impact are driving change. Organisations need to continuously innovate products and services to survive. But innovation is complex and full of risk; it requires change – and change is threatening because people fear the unknown.

 

 

We believe that there are two sides to innovation:

 

  • developing and commercialising new products or services
  • developing an organisation that is committed to innovation and provides practical support to its members of staff.

First, the whole organisation needs to develop a clear and shared vision to achieve its goals. Then it needs to identify and implement strategies, processes, technologies and deal with people aspects at all levels throughout the organisations.
